  • Professional Practice Experience internships for the degree will require:

    • Criminal and federal fraud background checks

    • Health insurance

    • Immunizations

    • Vehicle insurance (where applicable)

    • 40-80 hours of in-person, on-site internships

    • Drug screening (where applicable)

Completion of both HIT 130 and HIT 131 is equivalent to HIT 105.  If a student has completed HIT 105 as part of Health Records Certificate , they do not need to complete HIT 131.
