Simple Requirements

Prerequisite

Students are required to have a minimum of one-year of pre-hospital experience working as an EMT prior to the application deadline. 
Students who possess EMT Intermediate Certification for a minimum of one year that have not completed their EMT Basic Certificate at TCC will receive Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credits that are equivalent to EMS 110 & EMS 111 for a total of 12 credits. Certification requires state licensure and/or national licensure with Registry (NREMT).
